As some of you may know, I took part in last year’s Etsy Resolution and found it very helpful for getting my shop up and running and receiving some great guidance from mentors, as well as plenty of help from other makers! So when Etsy did a call out for mentors at the end of 2016, I thought I’d give it a shot in order to give something back to the Etsy community. I can’t tell you of my surprise when the email popped into my inbox to tell me I’d been selected! This was made all the more exciting because it involved a trip to the Etsy UK offices in London for mentor training. I thought you might be interested to see what my visit was like and what I saw there😊
And here they are enjoying a cuppa by all the amazing furniture:
I found this Etsy sign hiding in the foliage!
Lots of pretty plants about the place!
Spotted lots of 3d-printed goodies from our friends at L’Etabli!
Bag of knitting, in case you’re feeling crafty (or need a break from work!):
There was an impressive selection of tea available in their communal kitchen – vital for getting work done!
And they laid on an excellent social lunch – aptly named “Eatsy” 🙂
Here’s Jilly and Alyssa in the secret upstairs chill out area:
Fun Etsy goodies I got to bring home 🙂
A nice group shot on the stairs – Ajeet (centre) was our mentor teacher for the day:
Pretty lampshades and pretty stairs…
All the meeting rooms had fun names – we were in the Scone Roses room for the day!
So many cute things everywhere…
